Veteran's Day

As the daughter of a Air Force veteran and the wife of a Army veteran, it is the sudden passing of yet another veteran that has me a little rattled today. My parents' neighbor--a former Marine, veteran of the Korean War, and very close friend of the family--passed away yesterday after suffering a stroke early Tuesday morning. It's a jarring reminder to me that life is so short and so fragile.

Don't just hug a veteran today. Hug everyone you love.
